ATC #2

ATC #2, originally uploaded by Patrick Q.

Here's my second ATC; it was a quick one I made while trying out my new art supplies - I couldn't be bothered with straight lines.

Hope you are having a day as delightfully messy and joyfully colorful as this spontaneous creation of mine.

Hi, I don't think you know me, but you left a comment once on my blog a long time ago, and I read your blog. I really liked your first ATC, but I don't exactly understand what they are. Could you explain? Thanks so much in advance! Also, I'm terribly sorry about your pets. That's always really hard.

Hi shoa, I remember you! An ATC is an artist trading card. It's the same size as a playing card. The artist designs a work of art for one side. The other side holds the artist's contact information. The cards are traded to other artists, not sold. Pauline and I have decided to trade a few times with each other before participating in real swaps. There's a group on flickr that shows a lot of examples: http://www.flickr.com/groups/95067770@N00/
