About an hour until my first flight to Houston, and I'm killing time in the airport. Then it's on to Newark and Amsterdam before Germany. Thankfully, the airports have wifi and I've packed some novels, so I shouldn't be too bored on layovers. Check-in was a breeze. It's an uneventful beginning, but I'm not complaining.

don't you just love the amsterdam aiport and all their wifi sections? i spent time there last month myself on a layover and loved passing the time with my laptop, surfing through my favorite sites.
did you enjoy hamburg? i was there last month. my family and friends live an hour south, in hannover. we spent 2 months a year in germany, and love it there. the rest of the time, we're here in new england.
