OLD SKOOL

OLD SKOOL, originally uploaded by Patrick Q.

Here's my desktop. Like my vintage lego figure? I think he's confused; is he teaching geography or addition? My workspace is pretty sparse: count the icons. How many icons do you have? What kind of wallpaper? How often do you change it? What do the answers to these questions say about you as a person?

Pat,

I let Elly change my background when she gets tired of looking at it. Then it's nice to see something new!

well, my work computer and my home computer are much different, but here at work, my wallpaper is always one of my pictures. switched infrequently, usually when i'm in the mood for something different. currently, it's five leaves and a stick from the bank of a creek outside covington la.

i keep the bare minimum of icons, organized by type. for example, all of the basics (my computer, my docs, recycle) are in a verticle line in the upper left corner. in a small section next to that, i have a square of microsoft office programs frequently used. in the lower right corner, i have a horizontal line of entertainment related icons (though not necessarily used for entertainment) such as internet explorer, zoombrowser (the program used with the church's camera) and quicktime. and last, but not least, in the middle of the left side i have a vertical line of three programs i use at work.

what does this say about me? well, that i like order, but also that i cannot live a day without beauty. how's that?

have a great trip!
